What I cherish most in this life is the time I spend with my family
and horses. Horses, to me, represent many things. They allow me to borrow freedom - if only for
a few moments, to feel graceful on days when I am anything but, to risk it all when I only want to cling to security,
and to find peace in the strength of others. The journey I take every day with them teaches me that life is
about being strong enough to lead, compassionate enough to compromise, and humble enough to seek support when it is needed.
I always tell people horses are the noblest creatures on earth because they can not lie and they can not hide. They
are the gift of hope, of love, of accomplishment, of joy, and of tenderness for anyone who is blessed
enough to have them in their lives.

"A man has a brain the size of a cantaloupe and a heart the size
of a peach. A horse has a brain the size of a peach and a heart the size of a cantaloupe. I often wonder who's
the better for which."
