Kayaking and Canoeing the Platte River
We are so lucky to have a family willing to try fun things. On July 18, 2009 our family set out on kayaks and
canoes down the Platte River. We started at Schramm Park. The river was low, but we had a fun time (even
though we all got sunburned). It was great exercise on a beautiful day. We stopped at a sand bar to have lunch,
and then went the rest of the way to the cabin at Cedar Creek.

Happy Anniversary!!
February 8, 2009 my mother and father celebrated 45 years of wedded bliss.
Okay, they admit not all of it has been totally blissful, but it is amazing to witness the true friendship they have.
They have loved and supported each other and set an example of compromise and devotion unlike anything I have ever witnessed.
I love you both very much!
The four daughters took Mom and Dad out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse.
We had a blast. Mom got to finally find her way into a saddle. Now she says she's ready for Malachi!
